Biography
Presley Riley was born in 1817 in Kentucky, when his father, Abraham Riley, was 33 and his mother, Amelia Kindle , was 32.
He married Martha Jane Spiller on January 14, 1844, in Schuyler, Illinois [1] and they had one daughter together.
He then married Malinda Donahue on April 4, 1849, in Schuyler, Illinois [2] and they had three children together. The 1850 census shows their first child, Diana, and his mother, Milly, living with the family. [3]. Diana apparently died before 1860. In 1860, they were still living in Woodstock and his occupation is listed as laborer. [4]
He died in 1861 at the age of 44.
