Mary "Polly" Riley was born on February 25, 1816, in Carnesville, Georgia. She married John H Wade on February 23, 1840. They had 11 children in 20 years. She died on June 28, 1896, having lived a long life of 80 years, and was buried in the Wade Cemetery in Fayette County, Alabama.
