Biography

Anna Juhantytär Ring was born Jan 28, 1862 on the Ruotti Torppa, on the farm Sippola, near the village of Alakylä, Kauhava Parish, Finland. She was baptized Feb 2, 1862 by Kappalainen, Chaplain Johan Henrik Keckman. Her parents were Johan Samuelinpoika Ring (Oct 13 1834) and Sanna Katrina Iisakintytär Takala (Nov 16 1840). Her godparents were Torppari Thomas Tuomaanpoika and wife Wilhelmina Johantytär Tuurinmäki, Torppari's poika Elias Thomaksenpoika Tuurinmäki, Itsellinen Anna Johanstytär Ring, Her father was a Torppari working with is family on the Ruotti Torppa, and he and his family would work on the Sippola farm to pay rent on their Ruotti land. Sippola Farm

Her mother Sanna dies May 25, 1864 on the Ruotti Torppa, on the farm Sippola, near the village of Alakylä, Kauhava Parish of Katarrikuume, catarrhic fever, inflammation of the respiration canals. She was buried May 29, 1864. She was 23 years, 6 months, 9 days old.

Anna's father dies Jan 26 1866 on the Ruotti Torppa, on the farm Sippola, near the village of Alakylä, Kauhava Parish, of hermokuume, typhoid fever. He was buried Feb 11, 1866. He was 31 years, 3 months, 13 days old.[2]

Her grandmother died Dec 4, 1867 of Lungsot, hemoptysis. Her Aunt's husband Matts died Jul 26, 1867 of Ilmoittamaton tauti. uncataloged disease.

Anna lived with her grandfather, Samuel, her grandfather's daughter Liisa, and her brother Wilhelm. Her grandfather Samuel died Aug 18, 1878 of hermokuume, typhoid fever.

On April 1, 1879 Anna moved from the Ruotti Torppa, on the farm Sippola, near the village of Alakylä, Kauhava Parish and arrived April 4, 1879 in Lapua Parish. She ended up on the Alasaari farm, as a Piika maid, near the village of Kyrkoby, Lapua Parish Finland.

Anna lived on the Alasaari farm till early 1883. On March 30, 1883, Farmhand Johan Jaakko Jaakonpoika Leskelä, his last name at the time was engaged to Maid Anna Juhantytär Alasaari, her last name at the time. The witness was Gustaf Alasaari. The rest of her bio is with her husband. [3]
