Biography
Son of Jacob N. Ringer and Nancy Worley. His parents were natives of Pennsylvania. They were living in Beaver Township, Guernsey, Ohio in 1850.[1]
Jacob married Mary Ann House 21 Oct 1856 in Noble County, Ohio.[2]
Jacob and Mary Ann were living in Huntington Township, Ross, Ohio with their daughters Nancy and Hannah in 1860.[3]
Jacob was buried at Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh. His gravestone notes he served with the 178th Ohio Volunteer Infantry (O.V.I.). [4]
Born in Guernsey County , part of which became Noble County on Tuesday 11 March 1851.
