Obituary.
Susannah Darby left her earthly home, for the home not made with hands, Dec. 14, 1902. She was born in Preston county May 15, 1832. He bodily affliction spanned many years, resulting in great suffering. Her desire was to depart and be with Christ, where neither pain not disappointments ever come. She said she was ready for her translation and wanted loved ones to join her in Heaven. She held her membership in the Evangelical Association. She leaves an aged husband and five children to mourn her earthly loss. She lived to see all her children grow up to manhood and womanhood, and enter the marriage state. She was a sister to J. N. and Wm. P. Ringer of of [sic] Terra Alta. Her funeral, considering the very unfavorable weather was largely attended, and she was laid to rest in the beautiful cemetery at Bruceton.
