Biography
Parmelia Antoinette Riopelle was born in 1894. She was the youngest daughter of Dolphis Riopelle and Eugénie Beaudoin.[1]
Parmelia (Riopelle) Boucher, born 24 September 1894 at Crookston Township, Polk County, Minnesota, USA, died 9 October 1969 (aged 75) at Polk County, Minnesota, USA. She lies buried at Calvary Cemetery in Crookston.[2]
Her marriage was held 27 July 1912 and announced in the Duluth News-Tribune[3]:
"Crookston, Minn. – St. Ann’s church was the scene of a pretty wedding when Miss Antoinette Riopelle became the bride of Wilfred Boucher. The ceremony was performed at 3:30 and Rev. Father Tapin officiated. The bridal party were attended by the groom’s father, Julius Boucher and Miss Riopelle’s brother-in-law, L. J. Cadieux. The bride wore a gown of white marquisette over white messaline and carried a beautiful bouquet of bride’s roses. A large picture hat made the costume a beautiful one."
