Hi Ed , and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in Ireland and England. I wanted to let you know we have a great new project that focuses on the UK here called United Kingdom Project which links to our Irish Roots Project They would be a great places for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.

You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in both projects will be happy to help you in any way they can.

Thank you so much for joining WikiTree. Good luck with your research in 2015.

Retired. I have been doing genealogy for only 3 years. My ancestors are from Quebec, Ireland and England. Right now I am tracking direct lines only, not many aunts uncles or cousins 5 times removed.
