Biography

Charles was born in 1808. He was the son of Joseph Ripley and Susanna Cottle.

Charles married Ann Robinson Payson, 30 May 1843, Dorchester, Norfolk, Massachusetts. Ann, daughter of Samuel Payson, Jr. and Lydia Trescott, was born 02 June 1811, Dorchester, Norfolk, Mass. To this union were born:
