She married Leonard Victor Kerby on Thursday 2 November 1922[2] at St Paul's Presbyterian Church, Wanganui[3]. The report in the New Zealand Times noted that her groom was the "secretary of the Wanganui Hospital and Charitable Aid Board" and described the wedding as "quiet but pretty". They had one son.
She and her husband visited Christchurch in March 1926 and stayed at the Hotel Federal[5]. There was more on their visit the next day[6] when her husband was stated to be the "managing-secretary of the Wanganui Hospital Board".
Both her husband in 1961[7] and her son in 1965[4] predeceased her.
She died on 3 September 1970[8]. She was buried with her husband[9] on 5 September at Aramoho Cemetery, Wanganui, Plot 1003; Aramoho, Public Lawn Extension IV, 15[10].
