Biography
Elizabeth Scott Rittenhouse, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Rittenhouse and Isobel, his wife, of Georgetown, D.C., married William Henry Fitzhugh Gurley of Davenport, Iowa, afterwards of Hartsville, Pennsylvania, January 30, 1854. Elizabeth S. (Rittenhouse) Gurley died at Hartsville, Pennsylvania July 27, 1892 at the age of 62 years.
