Marie Josephe Rivard was born 29 Aug 1733, baptized on the 30th in Yamachiche, daughter of Joseph Rivard dit Laglanderie and Marie Toutan. [1]

Marriage
Marie Josephe Rivard first married with Louis Oude (Houde), son of the late Louis Houde and of Angélique Hamel, on 13 Nov 1758 in Yamachiche.[2]

3 known children from the marriage, the last posthumous to her father, one known to die young.[3]

Louis Houde, husband of Josephe Rivar, was buried 8 Sept 1761 in Yamachiche, the record giving him 40 years of age.[4]
