Biography
Helen Maria (Rivera) Garcia age of 84 of Albuquerque peacefully passed away on August 17 at her home. The daughter of Felix and Rose Rivera, she was born on Feb 22, 1931 in Corrumpa, NM.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, brother Dan and husband Henry A Garcia.
She is survived by sisters Ruth Rivera and Trudy Hart.
She is also survived by her children: Kerry (Tony) A Garcia, Cleo S Garcia and husband Jerry, Donald Garcia, Pamela (Pam) Garcia and Patrick Garcia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of cherished nieces, nephews and other family relatives and many friends.
Helen worked many years at Dillard's and owned "Helen's Wedding Belle" on Central for over 15 years.
Services will be at Rio Grande Baptist Church 2121 Gun Club Rd SW on August 22 at 1:00 PM.
