Biography

William was born in 1845. He is the son of William Rivers and Elizabeth Stevenitt. ^[1]

William arrived on the ship "Orwell" with his aunt Louisa Stevenitt and sisters Elizabeth Anne and Emily Rose. The ship embarked from Plymouth on 1 May 1858 and arrived in Melbourne on 7 Aug 1858. ^{[2] [3]}

In 1890 William marries Jane Florence Judge in Victoria, Australia. ^[4]

In 1892 the had a child named Stevenette. ^{[5] [6]}

He passed away in 1916. at Neerim South, Victoria. ^{[7] [8]}
