Joseph Arvilien Rivet, son of Paul Rivet and Marceline Eulalie Moralez, was born on 30 March 1873 in Assumption Parish, Louisiana, United States. He was baptized on 29 April 1873 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville, Assumption Parish. His godparents were Nicolas LeBlanc and Claire Verret.[1]
He died at only 16 months of age, on 20 August 1874 in Assumption Parish, and was buried the next day at the St. Elizabeth Church cemetery.[2]
