Joseph Clement Rivette, son of Joseph Eugene Rivette and Odile Moreau, was born on 1 August 1917 in Leonville, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, United States.[1]
Clement was enumerated in St. Landry Parish with his parents and siblings during the 1930 and 1940 censuses. He completed two years of high school, and worked as a non-paid farm laborer on the family farm.[2][3]
He married Mary Lou Wiltz on 20 March 1940 in Arnaudville, St. Landry Parish.[4]
He died at age 54 on 11 April 1972 in Arnaudville.[1]
