Biography

Alfred was born in 1828. He is the son of Richard Rixey and Ellen Brown.^[1] In 1850, Alfred was working as a clerk in Fairfax, Virginia.^[2] By 1870, Albert had moved to Dallas County, Alabama.^[3] Sometime prior to 1900, Alfred returned to Culpeper County, Virginia.^[4]
