Mrs. Eva Roach Lawshe
Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Roach Lawshe, 95, of Lexington were held from the Southern Funeral Home chapel in Lexington at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9 with Rev. Andy Ray officiating. Interment followed in the Roach-Lawshe Cemetery near Lexington.
Mrs. Lawshe, a housewife and native of Holmes County was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington. She died at the Holmes County Hospital in Lexington on Friday, December 7.
Mrs. Lawshe is survived by one son, Louis Lawshe of Memphis, Tennessee: one daughter, Frances Phillips of Lexington: one sister, Mrs. Marie Darnell of Lexington; thirteen grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mack Phillips, Barry Lawshe, Jeff Lawshe, Tommy Holder, Greg Holder, Hilton Holley and Billy Causey.
