Alice was born in Cork, Ireland in about 1827. On 31 December 1837, she arrived in Sydney, New South Wales aboard the “Alfred” with her father, John Roach, mother, Johanna (née Clancy) and her two brothers, David and Thomas. She died at Currawang, NSW on 27 March 1907.
