John Krueger, worked for Thomas George Roach in Pernwortham, South Australia.

In 1898 ( January) John Krueger fell off the back of a wagon on Thomas's property. apparently they were unloading hay. If you are not aware of this incident you may be interested in looking up the inquest on Trove digitised newspapers. It was in the Argus January 28 1898. John refused medical assistance and eventually died of his injuries. It sounds as if the Roach's were very caring and tried everything they could to help.

John's family left Penwortham after the accident.
