Mary Roan was born in 1866 in Tilbuster, Colony of New South Wales, daughter of Charles Edmund Roan (1819–1897) and Ruth Dawson (1833–1896).[1]
Mary (19) married John Swan Dawson (20) (born in 1865 in Armidale, New South Wales; son of Ellis Hare Dawson and Charlotte (Swan) Dawson) on June 16, 1886 in Armidale, New South Wales. [2]
Mary died in 1948 in Carlton, New South Wales, Australia, aged 81.[3][4]
