Biography

Andrew Robar is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.

Andrew was born in 1758 and christened October 18, 1758 at St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. He is the son of Abraham Robar and Elizabeth Lowe. [1] [2]

Greta Barbar Motz married George Andreas Andrew Robar (1758), son of Abraham Robar (1723-12-05) And Elizabeth Catherine L'Eau/Lowe/Lods (1720-1793) Greta and George had 9 children. Abraham Robar/Robert was born in 1723 in Brevilliers, Haute-Saone, Franche-Cote, France. His wife Elizabeth was born in Hericourt, Doubs, Franche-Comte, France. This couple had 5 children. Abraham's father Isaac Robar was born in 1668 in Montbeliard, Alsace, France. He died in 1748-12-02 in Brevilliers, Montbeliard,Doubs, France. He married Julianne Devin (1671-03-07/ 1748-11-23) of the same place. Julianne DEVIN, d. 23 November 1748 at Brevilliers, Montbeliard, France
