ELIZABETH ROBBINS, b. ca. 1688 (birth recorded and not named in the probate file of Robert Robbins, but called “dau. Robert” in Littleton records); m. at Concord 20 July 1710, John Powers, “both of Neshoba” (now Littleton). John, b. in the 1680s, d. at Littleton in 1755, son of William and Mary (Bauke, Bank or Banks) Powers, was the first schoolmaster in Littleton. Some descendants of this couple settled in the area of New Salem and Shutesbury, Mass. [List of their children provided in this article by the authors is not included in this excerpt[1]
