Biography

Mary was born in 1863, it is almost certain that she was born at the home of her parents in Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, even though her death certificate states she was born in Morrisville, Bucks County, Pennslvania. It should be noted that there were a number of errors made on her death certificate. Mary Robbins may have been named for a close neighbor of her parents, Mary, wife of Oliver Brown, but that is just a guess.

She married Charles Whitehead Collins in 1895, at the home of her parents in Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [1] The Robbins and Collins families had been close neighbors in the area known as Penns Manor, located in Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

The couple had only one child, Alfred Whitehead Collins, born in 1903.

After the death of her husband in 1937, she relocated to Lansdale, Montgomery Co., PA. She passed away in 1957, and was buried with her husband in the Morrisville Cemetery, Morrisville, Bucks, PA. [2]
