1880 Census. Newman Shuffield was living with his spouse, Sarah, along with seven of their children in De Roche, Hot Spring, Arkansas. He was a farmer. This Census shows they were both 36 and he was born in TN and Sarah was b. in Alabama. The children in the home were as follows:
