Biography

Emma Estelle "Essie" Roberson was born 30 May 1885[1] in Comanche,[1] Comanche County, Texas. She was the daughter of James Alexander Roberson[1] and his wife Viola Azeltine Lane.[1]

Essie married Sherwood McDonald.[1][2]

Sherwood and Essie had several children, including:

In March 1958 they were living in Comanche, Comanche County, Texas when Sherwood became ill with liver cancer.[3] Essie was widowed four weeks later and was the informant on his death on 12 Apr 1958.[3] She buried Sherwood at Oakwood Cemetery[4] in Comanche, Comanche County, Texas.

Essie passed away 14 Feb 1978[1][4] and was buried with Sherwood at Oakwood Cemetery.[1][4]
