Biography

Mrs. Bobbie Nell Boatner age 82, of Kingston, GA, died Sunday, August 8, 2010, in a local hospital. Mrs. Boatner was a life long resident of Floyd County, GA the daughter of the late Charles E. Roberson and Mary Selena Stiles Roberson. She was a member of West Rome Assembly of God and a homemaker. In addition to Mrs. Boatner’s parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Boatner; a brother, James Roberson and a sisters, Gertrude Waid, Jewel Dean Proctor, and Madeline Rucker.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Knight of Rome and Johnny Knight of Carrollton, GA; two grandchildren, John Knight and Lori Knight Kilgo; four sisters, Ozelle Edwards, Katie Hicks, Linda Kowlok, and Patricia Studdard all of Rome, GA; and four brothers, Kermit Roberson of Rome, Ray Roberson of Rome, Charles Roberson of Cedartown, GA, and Nick Roberson of Rome.
