Notes: Jun 1937: Name listed as LELA ROBERTS MCWILLIAMS
Knowledge of Bobbye Roberts Harkins that her Grandpa called him Dock. If anyone out there has more information, please advise.
Some others have this William H. Roberts of Newton County, Mississippi, but due to prepondance of evidence such as DNA connection to a Butler descendant of John Bartholomew Butler whom we are corresponding with, and other family tree sources, and who knew his middle name was Hampton, I believe this is Hampton Roberts, son of Joseph & Rebecca Roberts as history shows back during this time men did not go far from home looking for a wife. Anyone with different or concrete information please advise as I know there are some of his descendants still living.

The last 4 children had to be his and Nancys and not his step-children.
