When Amanda Fitzallen Roberts was born on August 21, 1818, in Amite, Mississippi, her father, Robert, was 32, and her mother, Lovey, was 18. She married Ephraim James Forman on January 13, 1842, in Caldwell, Louisiana. [1][2][3][4] After her husband died, Amanda lived with her son Robert and his wife Orra Ann Brady Steele Forman. [5] See also the attached document of information written by Orra's daughter about the family. It states that her great grandparents were Lovie Jane Taylor Roberts and Robert Roberts. [6]
She died on September 16, 1905, in her hometown, having lived a long life of 87 years, and was buried in Gloster, Mississippi.[7]
