Biography
Verna Mae Roberts was born Oct. 14, 1913, a daughte of Franz C. and Amanda Bowman Roberts. She married Leo Stuckey Sept. 24, 1935, in DeWitt County. He preceded her in death Aug. 28, 1999. Survivors include daughters, Sandra (Jim) Leevey, Janice Sullivan, Rita (Jack) Davis, Ruth Ann (Harlan) Spencer, Dixie Daniels, Rosa Lee (Terry) Quinn, Leona (John) Embry, and Carla (John) Lohmann; sons, Lyle Stuckey and Carl Stuckey; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson and a granddaughter.
