Mother Clara, Vera, Jack, Ida, Mildred and Frank all came out on the Corinthic in 1920. They asked Mother Clara whether she would sooner stay at home in England but she said, “No”. Daddy was gone and there wasn’t much to keep her there in England. The girls were marrying New Zealanders and going to New Zealand so she decided to go there too. Leslie married Albert’s only sister Bella Elizabeth Daysh.
