Biography

Moses was born about 1770 to 1777. He passed away about 1850. SIBLINGS: Moses' Father Shadrach(k) had the following four children with Katherine Turner.... 1) George b:1776, 2) John Turner b:1779 married Esteher Durnil 3)Catherine b:1782 married William Collier 4) Shadrach Jr. b:1784 married Nancy Parkes. With 2nd wife Eleanor Mayhew had two children... Aaron b:1797 married Susan Day and Lewis b:1800 (married Penelope Day.

Moses was married about 1803 to Mary Polly King and they had a least the following five children. ....1) Moses 1803 married Martha Patsy Smith 2) Anna b: 1804 married Ruolph "Rhea" Maggard 3)Nancy b:1805 married John Caudill 4) Sampson b:1806 married Hilla Hampton: NOTE Preston b:1828 is wrongly put in many trees as a son of Moses and he was a grandson, son of Sampson 5) Margaret "Peggy" b:1810 married Lewis Back 6) Per record below a possible sixth child Celia b:1825 married Randolph D Vires b:1822 . Am not finding another Moses Roberts that married a Polly in this area (NOTE HOWEVER this would make Mary Polly King 55 years of age at the time of her birth, so wondering if she was adopted by them ?).

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Moses by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Moses:

Roberts-30037 and Roberts-27512 appear to represent the same person because: Our Moses was the father of your Celia Roberts Vires... I descend through sister Anna Roberts 1804 married to Rudolph Rhea Maggard. Let's merge our Moses !
