Flora Jean Roberts Howie, age 76, of Rison, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018.

Born December 2, 1941 at Brasfield, AR (Prairie County) she was a daughter of the late Talmadge Leon “Les” Roberts and Sarah Mae Coleman Roberts.

Mrs. Howie worked in the meat department at Harvest Foods in the 28th and Hazel Street store for over 10 years.

She married John Dewitt Howie on March 16, 1966 at Pine Bluff, and he predeceased her on March 17, 2001. Also preceding her in death are a sister, Shirley Santos; two brothers, J. L. Roberts and Charlie Roberts; and a son-in-law, Skip Collins.

Survivors include a son, XX of Pine Bluff; three daughters, XX of Kingsland , SS, and XX all of Pine Bluff; a brother, XX Roberts of Jefferson; along with a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday, July 19, 2018, 12:00 Noon at Hardin Cemetery with Rev. B. J. Johnson officiating.
