Trying to clean up and build out some of the abandoned Roberts profiles in the Pulaski, KY area.

. John ROBERTS was born 1771 in Granville County, North Carolina, and died BEF. 20 APR 1857 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. He married Jane WEST 1 MAY 1798 in Montgomery County, Virginia, daughter of Isaac WEST and Susanna ANDERSON. She was born 1777 in Virginia, and died AFT. 1850 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.

Looking for help connecting John Roberts to William Roberts! b. ABT 1801.

William shows up on 1822, 1823, 1826, and 1827 tax records without any property, next to John Roberts (indicating he may have been in the household). Deed records show that when he purchased land in 1831, John Roberts reported the sale to the county clerk on his behalf. Furthermore, after William's death in 1836, his widow, Polly Roberts, starts showing up on tax records next to John and his children (John Jr., Absolem, Isaac, James, etc.)

1810 and 1820 census records for John Roberts appear to indicate that William was likely not in the household prior to 1822; however, there are too many connections to overlook.
