Elizabeth "Lizzie" Roberts, the daughter of Forgus S. Roberts (1829-1905) and Mary Ann Connell (1830-1897), was born on August 2, 1856 in Ohio.

Lizzie married Eli William Coulson (1840-1923), the son of John Coulson and Alcinda Johnson Huston, on June 18, 1874 in Morgan County, Ohio.
