Biography

John Ed Roberts was the son of John Bethel Roberts and Emma Whitfield Knight Roberts.

John Ed Roberts and Sarah Louise Cummings were united in Matrimony on the 27 June 1918 in Mobile, Alabama. They were the parents of 4 children.

John Ed Roberts was a Methodist minister before 1930 until his death in 1962, preaching in churches in the central part of Mississippi. His son Eddie Frank Roberts also became a Methodist minister.

Their oldest daughter, Ruth Beatrice, died shortly after the birth of her first child, John & Sarah raised their grand daughter.
