William was born 23 February 1845 in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas, and he was baptized there on 3 February 1846.[1] He was the son of John Roberts Jr. and Elizabeth Augusta Curry.
William died on 30 March 1885 in Green Turtle Cay.[3]
He is said to have been a lay Methodist Preacher. On one of his children's civil birth records, he is listed as a P. School Teacher. On this civil death record, he is listed as a Shop Keeper.
