W. W. Robertson, 90, Dies in California

William Wisdom Robertson, 79 {90 is the correct age}, of San Bernardino, Calif., died on Monday evening in a hospital in that city after a three weeks illness.

Mr. Robertson was born in a Browning township November 26, 1871 the son of Allen and Mariah Wisdom Robertson. He was married to Ella Amanda Gragg June 12, 1894, who preceded him in death July 2, 1954. He was a lifetime resident of the Browning area and a member of the E. U. B. church.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Rita Lee and Mrs. Carolyn Wood, both of San Bernardino, Mrs. Fanny Anderson of San Diego, and Mrs. June Condit of Astoria; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Skiles of Fairfax, Va., and Mrs. John Venters of Beardstown.

Three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Jeffries, Mrs. Berniece Osborn and Weltha Robertson, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday in the E. U. B. church in Astoria with the Rev C. W. Leonard officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgeville cemetery near Browning. Friends may call at the Shawgo Memorial home in Astoria after 4 p.m. Friday where the family will meet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services Saturday.
