Mary Ann Robertson was born on 2 April 1875 at Draffan in the Lesmahagow district of Lanarkshire, Scotland, the daughter of Thomas Robertson and Mary Love.^[1]

Mary married James Jenkins in about 1894 in the Bellshill district of Lanarkshire.^[2]

Mary died on 5 October 1948 at Hastings, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.^[3].
