Biography
Caroline was born in 1853 in Missouri. She was the daughter of Benjamin Robertson and Margaret Brown.[1][2]
She married William Shelton about 1871 probably in Crawford County, Arkansas. They were the parents of Cordelia, Arminta, Ann, John, Delpha, Carra, Laura, Alonzo and Rosa.[3] By 1900 they had moved into Indian Territory.[4][5]
She died in 1922 in Marble City, Oklahoma. She is buried at the Marble City Cemetery in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma.[6]
