Biography

Judith was born in Virginia about 1726 to John Robinson and Tabitha Jones . [1]

About the year 1746, she married Field Bradshaw. They became the parents of at least nine children. As named in the will, these children were Benjamin, Rebecca, Charles, Jonas, Josiah, John, Field, Judith, and Susannah.[2]

About the year 1778 Judith and Field left Virginia and settled in North Carolina. They lived on the western side of Catawba River, near Leepers Creek and Coburn's Creek in the southeastern section of Tryon County. This area later became part of Lincoln County, North Carolina.

Field died in 1788 and Judith can be found as head of household in the 1790 census records for Lincoln County, North Carolina. [3]

Judith died in Lincoln County, North Carolina between 10 August 1818 when a codicil to her will was written, [4] and January of 1820 when it was presented in court. [5]
