Biography

Isaiah was born on 5 October 1804. He was the son of Elijah Robey and Catherine Unknown.[1]

Isaiah probably married Christina Adeline Roberts around 1825 (based on the ages of their children); they were the parents of two sons, Thomas Y. Robey and Isaiah Robey.[2]

In 1830, Isaiah purchased land from his wife's half uncle, Bartemius Acton.[3]

Although the Robey family genealogy states that Isaiah died on 20 April 1831 at age 26, no source is given for this date.[4] Isaiah wrote his will on 19 April 1831, which was probated on 2 May of that year.[2]
