Not Louis Rebicher.
The person who died in Quebec in 1649 has been shown to be Louis Rebicher (abt.1612-1649), NOT this man Louis Robichaud.
Louis Rebicher died in 1649, he was 37. No mention of a spouse.[1]
According to Cyprien Tanguay, Louis was born in 1609 and was buried on January 4, 1649 at Quebec (Quebec City Canada). Placide Gaudet maintains that he was the son of Etienne who settled in Acadia. However, Stephen White refutes this assertion. None of the three genealogists identify a wife, although online trees state her name was Marie, and some claim she was Amerindian.
See Stephen White's update in the English Supplement which says
Louis "ROBICHAU"
Explanatory Note
According to Placide Gaudet, "Louis Robichaud was born in France in 1609 and died at Québec in 1649, during a voyage that he made there from Port-Royal. He is the ancestor of the family of this name in Acadia. *** He must have married about 1636 or 1637. I do not know the name of his wife.*** I only know about two of his sons. The elder, named Charles, was born in 1638...*** The other, who was born in 1640, had the name Étienne..." But the only document that is known concerning Louis is his burial record at Québec. From a copy of this record it has been verified that it was Louis REBICHER, and not ROBICHAU, who died at Québec in 1649. It thus seems that, lacking any supporting documentation, no one can make out a connection between Louis Rebicher and Étienne Robichaud as Gaudet had wanted to.[2]
Who is Louis Robichaud?
LOUIS ROBICHAUD FUT PROBABLEMENT RECRUTE PAR CHARLES DE MENOU, SIEUR D'AULNAY ET DE CHARNIZAY QUI POSSEDAIT UNE VASTE SEIGNEURIE PRES DE LA CHAUSSEE OU IL RECRUTA UNE TRENTAINE DE FAMILLES POUR LA PETITE COLONIE D'ACADIE D'ALORS. LORS DU "GRAND DERANGEMENT" COMMENCE A GRAND PRE EN 1755 ET QUI SE POURSUIVIT JUSQU'A LA CHUTE DE LOUISBOURG, 3 ANS PLUS TARD, DES FAMILLES S'ENFUIRENT DANS LES BOIS ET REVINRENT AU QUEBEC PAR TOUS LES MOYENS; CE QUI FAIT QU'IL Y A AU- JOUD'HUI, PLUS DE DESCENDANTS D'ACADIENS ICI QUE DANS LES REGIONS D'ACADIE.
LOUIS ROBICHAUD PROBABLY WAS RECRUITED BY Charles de Menou, Sieur d'Aulnay and Charnizay with extensive LORDSHIP NEAR THE ROAD WHERE HE recruited some thirty OF FAMILIES FOR THE SMALL COLONY OF ACADIA THEN. WHEN THE "BIG DISTURBANCE" BEGINS TO GRAND PRE in 1755 and continued until the fall of Louisbourg, 3 YEARS LATER, FAMILY fled into the woods and returned QUEBEC BY ALL MEANS, WHAT MAKES IT IT IS TO-JOUD'HUI OVER HERE THAT ACADIAN DESCENDANTS IN THE REGIONS OF ACADIA.

Robichaud-578 and Robichaud-137 are not ready to be merged because: If we merge these two, then we will be stuck with two wives and some children and no proof of either. Robichaud-137 may be a fabrication. Not sure.
How about we remove the death date as it clearly goes with the other profile. Then he can stand alone with the kids. I'm sure the wife is not real. At least the kids can be connected even if his facts aren't real. Maybe I should change the LNAB of the real Rebicher so they are even less alike?
That seems like a reasonable solution. At one point, I thought I had done something but I searched for Rebicher and came up empty. It was a few years back. Carry on.
Robichaud-578 and Robichaud-137 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, Rebicher is clearly his name on the death record. Source is added. Both spouses are speculative. White says an unknown spouse and neither had sources. I think it's better to have his two profiles merged and leave the spouses to be sorted out or even merged together themselves.
Louis Robichaud married an Indian woman according to nosorigines.ca
