Leonice (Robichaud) Doucet is a descendant of an Acadian

Leonice Robichaud was the daughter of Maximin Robichaud and Anne Christine Cottreau.[1]
She was born April 19, 1873 in Tusket Wedge, Nova Scotia.[1][2]
She married Jean Alvin Doucet, the son of Ange Francois Doucet and Mathilde Cottreau, on February 17, 1899 at St. Michael's[3] in Tusket Wedge.[2]
The couple settled into the home of her husband on the Corporon Road in Tusket Wedge[4] [2] where they raised their family of 6 children[3]:

2. Rose Evangeline "Eva" born circa 1903[6]
3. Charles Augustin "Gus" born in 1904[7]
4. L'Ange Francois born in 1907[8]
5. Marie Lily born in 1909[9]
6. Charles Sylvestre "Sylvester" born in 1912[10]

Leonice died April 5, 1930 in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia[11][2], and was buried April 6, 1930 in Wedgeport.[11][2]
