Biography

Pierre Robichaud, son of Prudent Robichaud and Henriette Petitpas, was born about 1696 in Port-Royal, Acadia. He was age one and a half on the 1698 census of Port Royal.[1]

Pierre Robichau married Magdelaine Bourgois, daughter of the late Germain Bourgois and Magdelaine Dugas 8 February 1724 at Port Royal, Acadia. The bride and groom made their marks as did Prudent Robichau, the son. Signed by Deny Petitot, Joseph Bourgeois, Prudent Robichaux, Guillaume Blanchard and Charles Blanchard.[2][3]

Pierre Robicheau, husband of Magdelaine Bourgeois passed away 16 Nov 1749, aged about 52 years at Port Royal and was buried there the next day. Witnesses were Pierre Doucet and Pierre Gourdeaux[4]
