Joseph Robychot was born about 1697. He was the son of Charles Robichaud and Marie Thibodeau of Cobequit. He married Madeleine Dupuy, daughter of the late Martin Dupuy and Marie Landry 24 May 1725 at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand Pre. Joseph Robychot's mother was also deceased at the time of his wedding.
