John was born 18 Aug 1874[3] in Canada. In 1876, his family moved to Saint Lawrence County, New York. The 1900 U.S. Census[4] shows him living in Ogdensburg, Saint Lawrence County. In 1910[5], he is in Waddington in Saint Lawrence County. He is in Massena, Saint Lawrence County in the 1915 New York State Census[6], 1920 U.S. Census[7], 1925 New York State Census[8], 1930 U.S., Cities Directory[9] and 1946 U.S., Cities Directory[10]
