Biography

Philip James Robin, second son of Percival Carteret Robin and Fanny Margaret Pollock was born 29 July 1888.^[1]

He married Elizabeth Cecil Marguerite Fergusson (nee Browne) in 1916.

They had children:

Philip Bryan (1917-2011)
Pauline Caroline (1927-2007)

He was a Lieutenant in London Regiment in 1918.

He emigrated to Australia, arriving in Queensland in 1924, with his son Philip. His wife, and Phyllis, her daughter from a previous marriage, arrived in 1925.

In 1925 he was living at the Subdeanery, Melton Hill, Townsville, with his brother Bryan and sister-in-law Frances. He was an insurance inspector.

In 1930 he was living at Stanton Hill, Townsville with his wife.

In 1937 they were living at Somerset Dam, Esk, Darling Downs. He was a store keeper.

In 1943 they were living at “Oakley” Orleigh tee, Kurilpa, QLD. He was a supervisor.

In 1954 they were living at Stanthorpe. He was a miner.

He died in 1955.^[2]
