Biography

Jane Bowden Robins was born on 3 (birth index) or 23 (newspaper) March 1885. She is the daughter of John Richard Robins and Mary Fisher.^[1][2]

Jane married William Calliss on 11 February 1903 at the Cowell Institute. She was recorded as 18, daughter of John Richard Robins; he was 27, son of William Calliss.^[4]

Jane Bowden Calliss (widow) died aged 99 on 8 September 1981 at Western Private Hospital, Croydon. Her residence was recorded as 19 Cronin Avenue, Port Lincoln 5606 and "relative" William John Calliss.^[6]

Many death notices in the Port Lincoln Times of 11 September 1981 identify her descendants at that time.^[7]
