William Robins was born on 14 Aug 1811, in Wiltshire, England and was baptised there at the Kingswood Parish Church on 22 Sep 1811.
According to the 1841 census, William was a resident of Kingston, Thornbury, Gloucestershire. In 1851, he was living in Aberystruth, Beaufort. In 1835, he was working as a laborer, but, by 1859, he had become a gardener. In 1871, he lived at 9 Queens Square, Ebbw Vale, Bedwellty. In 1881, he was living at 36 Ebbw Vale Garden House.
William Robins died at 14 Armoury Terrace, Ebbw Vale, Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales on 15 Feb 1892.
