There appears to be a possible connection, however the Will mentioned is for a Thomas Robinson not Robins. I see that Ancestry has Thomas "Robins" wit a wife Aralanta as his wife of a few trees. There may be a connection. The names certainly raise that suspicion. Robins, Purnell, Bowdin, and Esther are connected to the Robins family. Thomas' grandmother was Esther Littleton wife of Col. John Robins. Thomas' father was Thomas and his wife was Elizabeth Bowden. Thomas & Elizabeth Bownden named a boy Bowden Robbins. Robins was variously spelled Robbins and Robinson. I am surprised at the spelling in his Will being Robinson! I think more research is needed!

It looks as though this person had a son, Thomas, not yet set up. What do you think of this as a possible connection?

Here is a 3 Dec 1765 will for Thomas Robins of Worcester County, Maryland [1] begins bottom left of image 65 and continues to image 66. (Lots of worldly possessions!) Although both Thomas and Robins are ubiquitous, the names of the children are worth noting:

wife Aralanta
children Thomas Robins, Elizabeth (Robins) Winant, John Purnell Robins, Littleton Robins, Mary (Robins) Purnell and her husband William Purnell, Andasia Robins, Bowdin Robins, Easter [Esther] Robins, Alanta Robins.

Edited to add: Possibly the wife Aralanta in this will (this profile's Daughter In Law) is Aralanta Purnell, daughter of John Purnell -- supported by son's name "John Purnell Robins"
